In early October, I was in Parnaíba - PI (Brazil) to attend and speak at PHPeste 2025. 🐘

I had the chance to give a talk titled "Contributing transforms: how your actions can redefine your career", talking about how contributing can impact our journey, as well as sharing personal experiences that helped me grow in several professional and personal ways.

Thanks to PHP Piauí, the community responsible for organizing this year's edition, who worked really hard to make the event a success. I think it's really cool that every edition is organized by a different community from the Northeast, further strengthening the spirit of collaboration.

It was my first time at the event, and I plan to come back next year, which will be held in Maranhão.

Beyond the knowledge gained and shared, the highlight of the event is the bonds created and strengthened, the sense of community, the opportunities that come up, and also the experience of getting to know new places and cultures.

(Coming back from ~40°C in Parnaíba to ~15°C in Chapecó... my body is still processing it 😅).
