Extremely happy and proud to have been there from the very conception through to the realization of PHP Velho Oeste 2023, the feeling of accomplishment is huge.

Our main purpose in coming up with the event was to strengthen and boost the #PHP community in western Santa Catarina (Brazil). I'm happy to share that we not only reached that goal, but also extended our impact to several other places, with the warm presence of attendees from the states of SC, RS, PR, RJ, SP, and MG.

Our attendance projection was hit in the very first week of ticket sales, so right off the bat we had to change the event venue to fit everyone, we had close to 200 people.

I'd like to thank and congratulate all the attendees, speakers, sponsors, supporters, and of course the organizing team, you were essential to the event's success.
