That's me in 2016, about to defend my Mandatory Curricular Internship, an essential step for any Teaching degree program. At the time, I was studying Computing Education at UTFPR and became a certified teacher shortly after.

At that moment, my biggest wish was to graduate and work as a professor in higher education. I clearly remember dreaming of going on to a Master's and, eventually, a Ph.D., inspired by the time I spent with my own professors.

I was lucky to have exceptional professors, who not only taught but also pushed me to always go further. During my degree, I had the chance to take part in several projects that shaped me into a more dedicated professional, and also into a better person.

However, by the end of the program, I followed a different path. Even though I didn't end up working directly as a teacher, I've had, and keep having, countless opportunities to teach and learn almost every day.

So here's my tribute and deep respect to every teacher, for their struggle and commitment to education, in a society where fewer and fewer people are willing to step into a classroom.
